Come to the July meeting ready to interactively learn how Aquatic invasive species have infiltrated our beloved Great Lakes negatively affecting the environment, local economies and quality of life. These species are also poised to invade the thousands of lakes, rivers and streams in the great lake watershed.

Amber is a gifted educator, the Master Watershed Steward Coordinator for Erie, Crawford and Warren Counties, and the Coastal Outreach Specialist for Sea Grant, Lake Erie Office, and specializes in aquatic invasive species. Using games, specimens and power point we will learn how to identify these invasive species and what we can do to help prevent the further spread of them. With this knowledge we can do our part to preserve our greatest and most beautiful natural resource.
